Welcome to the third incarnation of the Wagner Discussion Board. The first Wagner board was moderated by the late Joe Erbacher and it was located at his site Wagner on the Web. When he passed away, Lichtalberich, a "member" of the board, took it upon himself to keep the board alive. For personal reasons Lichtalberich had to withdraw as moderator, so the board was moved to my Wagner Discography. This is primarily a place to discuss Richard Wagner, his operas, and recordings of them. There are other forums available if you want to discuss other composers' operas or recordings. See the link section. There are no specific rules when participating in the discussions. The members of the board have allways followed a strong tradition of being polite and civil to each other. As the moderator I have the right to edit or delete messages that are out of line. I think this has only been needed once or twice in the history of the Wagner Board. If everone respects one another, there shouldn't be any problems. Please, do not use the board as a place for trading recordings. To get in contact with people wanting to trade I recommend Mickeyland. |
